This year, we piloted offering some helpful workshops aimed at coaches. We realize many coaches also serve as an adjudicator. As we consider creative scheduling approaches that may include: (a) workshops people could attend before or after their school’s performance time slot; (b) student workshops concurrent with coach workshops; (c) online/webinar workshops in the fall; (d) roundtable discussions and sharing sessions. Please offer any suggestions you may have to enhance this programming and any topics you think would be helpful for workshops.

As we debrief with UW-Madison, part of our efforts will include a formal letter to the Chancellor and Provost, whose offices were instrumental in connecting us with the College of Letters and Science, the largest unit at the university. Any positive feedback you offer will be shared back with decision-makers to continue to advocate for increased engagement by the university.
